Alpacatrax Frappuccino, (ARI registration pending), is the third cria born to Wilpaca’s Sophia (ARI #802895) (See full description) on our farm. He was born on October 17, 2003, son of award winning AC Masked Crusader, a dark brown “Fancy” (ARI #811673), himself a Blue and Red ribbon winner at the Big “E” 2000 and an exceptional son of PPPeruvian Fortissimo (ARI #139295).
“Frappy” as we call him for short, lives up to his name, with several coffee-colored spots on his back and hindquarters and luscious, lengthy white fiber around his face, with significant coverage over his well structured body.“Frappy” loves to romp with his friends and shows wonderful exuberance galloping around the fields. His confirmation is outstanding with a graceful, straight neck, well-proportioned body, beautiful legs and statuesque “Fortissimo” head inherited from his father. Frappuccino is an outstanding herdsire and exquisite fleece animal with fiber artisans coming back year after year seeking to work with his fleece.
For several years, Frappuccino joined his friends Alpacatrax Moonstruck Mustang and Persephone at the University of Massachusetts Camelid Veterinary program at the Hadley Farm in Hadley, Massachusetts. Frappaccino was happy to teach student veterinarians all he knows about being a prized camelid, and in turn, receiving the best quality care. Frappuccino and Moonstruck have since returned to our farm, happy to be reunited with their family and friends.
