He has matured into a fine, young male with white on his nose and chin. His strong confirmation, lustrous dark brown/black dense coat, sparkly large dark eyes framed with long lashes, and friendly personality make him one of the favorites on the farm. He kisses our farm family and strangers alike. His fiber is in strong demand by some of our more experienced fiber artist friends who appreciate the extreme hand, luster and staple length of his annual fleece. Our expectation that D'Artagnan will be a highly sought after herdsire once he reached the cruising age of three in the spring of 2006 is on the way to being met with several outstanding breedings cued. D’Artagnan is highly likely to bring wonderful dark color, fiber intensity and confirmation to his crias if bred to outstanding color stock.
