Alpacatrax Persephone (ARI #1304930) is Royal Peruvian Finesse’s (ARI #801909) third cria, born on April 13, 2003 on our farm. She has solid confirmation, a warm personality and serene disposition. Her fiber has fine crimp with good staple length and a beautiful brightness to her fleece and like her mother, she will be a prized fiber animal. Her father, is award winning AC Starbuck, (ARI #801475 light fawn) owned at time of conception by Joan McCurry, The Alpaca Connection, Woodbury, Connecticut.

Persephone makes her home at a family farm in Massachusetts after spending some time at the University of Massachusetts Camelid Veterinary Program at the Hadley Farm in Hadley, Massachusetts starting in December, 2005. She, along with two other animals were donated by Alpacatrax to the University of Massachusetts Camelid Veterinary program to help teach student veterinarians, through hands-on training, about high quality camelid care.
