Royal Peruvian Finesse (ARI #801909) – d/o/b October 21, 1997, born on Mary Z. Reed’s alpaca farm, Chagrin Valley Alpaca, in Novelty, Ohio. She is a white, half Accoyo female. Her sire is PPPeruvian Grand Master 6019 (ARI # 139292) who is light fawn with superlative fiber, yielding over 10 pounds annually. Grand Master’s micron count was 18.3 at approximately 2 years of age. He is well-known as a top breeding male, owned at the time of her birth by Stachowski Alpacas, Mantua Ohio. Her mother is PPeruvian Bondad R0654, (ARI # 123087), a stately and beautiful animal. With a micron count of 18.2 at 18 months old, Finesse’s fleece is top of the line with rare handing and uniformity. Her fiber fineness, architecture, luster and staple length have been formally judged as Spinner’s Choice to be extraordinary. Finesse won second prize out of a class of 12 at the 1999 AOBA Conference in Columbus, Ohio.
